Over Christmas I had a great stay in a charming guesthouse. the breakfast was absolutely delicious with a variety of choices. the location was perfect, not in the heart of the city but close to shops, restaurants, and cafes. the hosts were friendly and hospitable, going out of their way to make us feel at home. It was also very clean and well-maintained.
The downside was that the guesthouse had limited parking options which was a bit inconvenient. the walk to the city center was longer than expected.

Pina was wonderful.. LIke staying with family. She welcomed us with coffee and information, recommendation for a place for dinner, and some assistance with a sore back one of us had. It is central and easy to walk to town, the bus to Catania, the funicular up Mt.Etna, and is quiet at night for sleeping. Breakfast was amazing. Lots to choose from, and endless fresh coffee. Try dinner at 1877 down the road.
The only common area for guests to use was the kitchen. Our room had no outside area to enjoy sun, that we knew of.

Very convenient for Mount Etna and easy to get to from Catania Airport as a first night. Owners very frindly and helpful. Good breakfast. Nicolosi is a pleasant town with a couple of good restaurants within easy walking distance of B&B.

The breakfast was fantastic, with delicious homemade cakes and fresh coffee that made our mornings perfect. The location was also great, close to attractions and restaurants. the hosts were very friendly and always willing to help us with any inquiries we had.
The lack of a lift was a bit inconvenient, especially when carrying luggage up the stairs. However, it was a minor downside compared to the enjoyable experience we had at the B&B.

The hotel's location is convenient for those planning to climb Etna, as it is close to the mountain. Rooms are clean, but lack basic amenities such as a lift. the breakfast is delicious and homemade, especially the croissants. it lacks variety and could benefit from more options such as hot dishes.
The hotel lacks basic amenities such as a lift, which makes it difficult to access rooms on higher floors or carry heavy luggage.

I had an amazing time at this cozy hotel. The staff was very hospitable, always willing to provide assistance with prompt replies to my queries. The hotel's facilities were clean and well-maintained, with ample parking space available. The location was perfect, with easy access to public transportation and within walking distance of the city center. Moreover, the breakfast was delicious and filling, with a range of homemade pastries and a freshly brewed cup of coffee to start my day.
Couldn't stay longer.

Our stay in B&B Alfio Tomaselli was EXCELLENT!!!Never been in a hotel and felt so welcome as in here. Pina makes you feel comfortable and prepares the breakfast personally. Alfio always try to help in every way. He also offered to takes us around and was one of the excursions we enjoyed most. Even my kids enjoyed staying there. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Fabulous place to stay. Very comfortable rooms with good facilities. Situated in a quiet area within walking distance of some really nice restaurants. Lovely Italian feel in the village centre at night. Easy parking. Great for visiting Etna. Taormina and Syracuse within easy reach. But best of all is the fantastic hospitality, even lending my wife some shoes to go up Etna. The breakfasts are wonderful, we learned a lot about what to eat and what with. We highly recommend this to everyone.

We slept for 4 nights in the B&B with our children (8 and 10 yrs) and we loved to stay longer: clean rooms, outstanding breakfast, we felt the whole time very welcome. Sometimes while we were on the terrace in the evening Pina came with some fruit or tipical dessert from the area. The children loved to look at the 'tartugios' every day. Kitchen with oven and refrigerator could be used too. The B&B was very near the Etna and Etnaland. Both were really worth visiting and we obtained a discount for the visit of the Etna. Thanks Pina!
Really pity that Pina didn't speak good english: it was a little difficult to communicate. The bathroom was clean but shower could be a bit larger.

Their kindness, and an open kitchen service during the day to be able to get coffee, tea and some other snacks. Amazing terrace!!
